Rachel Lewinsky-Young

Professional Biography

Rachel Lewinsky is a paralegal in our tax department. She studied Criminology at Columbus State Community College before transferring to Sinclair Community College where she earned an Associate’s degree as a paralegal. Before joining Legal Aid, she worked as a paralegal  the areas of Criminal, Domestic Relations, Probate, Bankruptcy, Real Estate, and Compliance and Tax law for employers ranging from small law firms to a corporate office.

She enjoys working for legal aid because it provides an opportunity to help people. “I have a passion for and belief in serving others, whether through my work, volunteering in the community or assisting those close to me,” she said. “Since starting with LASC and SEOLS in July 2018, I have experienced the extensive needs of our low-income clients and the appreciation they have for the guidance, time and care put into resolving their situations, whatever that may be.”

Rachel is married with three sons, who are all close in age. The family lives in the Hilliard area with their dog, Olive, who believes she is a fourth child.
