Karin Nordstrom

Professional Biography

Karin Nordstrom is currently an Equal Justice Works Fellow working with the Public Benefits team at LASC. Her fellowship focuses on providing education, representation, and advocacy for veteran’s benefits and discharge upgrade cases. Her goal with this fellowship is to provide veterans in Franklin and Madison counties with financial stability through representation on claims and increased agency through education and development of pro se materials. Her fellowship is being sponsored by Jones Day and The Procter & Gamble Company from September 5, 2017- September 4, 2019.

Karin joined LASC after completing her law degree at the Ohio State University, Moritz College of Law. Prior to law school, Karin spent two years in Senegal, West Africa serving as a preventative health volunteer with the Peace Corps. Karin became an Equal Justice Works Fellow and Veteran’s Law attorney because she wants to serve those who have sacrificed for our country but have not received the recognition or compensation they deserve.
