With reductions in staff and in addition to the work of the Volunteer Resource Center, LASC is seeking committed volunteers-including attorneys, paralegals, students, and community members-who are willing to contribute to our in-house projects and support the work of our teams. Although we appreciate any interest in our program, we do ask for a regular schedule during business hours and a minimum three-month commitment from volunteers who work with our substantive law teams. LASC may also be able to use some volunteers who are unable to commit to an extended time frame but are available to help with isolated projects.
If you are interested in volunteering at LASC, please complete an online application. Attorneys should submit the Attorney Pro Bono Application, and paralegals, students, or community members may complete the Non-Attorney Volunteer Application.
Please note that space limitations and the need to maintain supervision over volunteers limit LASC from accepting the assistance of all interested volunteers.
Thank you for your interest in contributing to the work of the Legal Aid Society of Columbus.
